We are seeking a Medical Marketing Manager (f/m/d) for the DACH region to build and lead our medical marketing capabilities from the ground up. This is a newly created role in a fast-scaling organization, offering a unique opportunity to shape how we engage with healthcare professionals across DACH. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will operate at the intersection of science and commercial strategy, with high visibility and direct impact on business growth. You will be responsible for developing HCP engagement strategies, establishing and steering the medical field force in Germany, and strengthening our presence in Austria, including Rx-related activities.
The role requires a rare combination of scientific credibility, marketing expertise, and entrepreneurial drive to build structures, define standards, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
This role is based in a hybrid working model in Mannheim. While we regularly come together in the office to collaborate, there is no minimum on-site requirement.

Key Responsibilities
Build & Define Medical Marketing (DACH)
- Establish the medical marketing function from scratch, including strategy, processes, and ways of working
- Develop and execute the DACH HCP engagement strategy
- Create and localize high-quality scientific and detailing materials
Field Force Build-Up & Steering (Germany)
- Design and implement the HCP field force model (own vs. external partnerships)
- Select and manage external sales force partners where applicable
- Define KPIs, performance frameworks, and governance
- Develop and deliver training for medical representatives
KOL & Scientific Engagement
- Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across DACH
- Strengthen medical credibility and external reputation
- Represent the company in scientific discussions and engagements
Austria Development (incl. Rx)
- Further develop medical marketing activities in Austria
- Support Rx-related initiatives and ensure strong integration with OTC strategies
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs both in local and global teams
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards
- Contribute to broader commercial strategy and execution
Required Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Medical Marketing, HCP Marketing, or similar roles
- Strong experience working directly with healthcare professionals and/or managing a medical field force
- Proven ability to build or significantly develop HCP engagement approaches
- Experience in Consumer Health, OTC, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environments
- Experience in DACH markets; Austria exposure is a strong plus
- Fluent in German and English
