Junior Product Line Manager

ROLE PURPOSE

As a Junior Product Line manager, your responsibility will be to create and maintain all product data and assets related to the New Product Development and Product Life Cycle Management for B2B and channels.

In addition, you will assume the responsibility of efficiently administering day-to-day product management functions for designated product categories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the development and execution of product strategies for the product lines, including market analysis, product positioning, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Project Management, Product Management, Compliance, Quality, Legal/IP, R&D, and Supply chain to assist with product launches, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on product-related initiatives.
• Maintain and update product and website database, utilizing internal databases and software tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, sourcing, and design teams to create product artwork, packaging designs, marketing materials, and other visual assets to support product launches and promotions.
• Provide support to internal stakeholders regarding product inquiries, technical specifications, and pricing information.
• Help Project management team to make minutes from project meetings and update the project tracker to monitor the progress of the active projects and NPD/NPI plan.
• Collect sales forecasts from countries for new products and cost-reduction projects.
• Conduct research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings within the LED lighting market, and make recommendations for product enhancements and new product opportunities.
• Work closely with supply chain, sales, and product management to devise an effective phase-in phase-out plan.
• Work with the planning team and countries on excess stock reduction.

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND BACKGROUND

• 1-2 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related roles, preferably within the lighting industry.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in other languages is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint presentations and Pivot tables.
• Ability to process, enter, analyze, and generate reports based on huge amounts of data.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Must be a team player and a solid problem-solver with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
