Your Opportunity: As we scale rapidly across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, we're building the core team that will define our success.
We’re looking for a Medior/Senior Web Developer to own the technical backbone of our e-commerce from end to end - building a fast, scalable Shopify storefront, improving Core Web Vitals, and enabling continuous experimentation

Your Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality storefront components: Develop and maintain Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes, sections, and reusable UI components that are responsive and accessible.

• Implement pixel-perfect pages: Co-create landing pages and micro-features with UX; deliver precise, high-fidelity implementations.

• Engineer for performance: Optimize bundling/splitting, images, critical CSS, and hydration strategies; continuously improve LCP, INP, and CLS.

• Integrate critical systems: Connect payments (Mollie/Klarna/PayPal), CRM/email (Klaviyo/Omnisend), reviews, PIM/ERP, and translations reliably.

• Enable experimentation safely: Set up, QA, and roll out A/B tests and feature flags to support data-driven decisions.

• Ensure trustworthy data: Implement GA4 events, Consent Mode, CMP, and (server-side) tagging; define and validate data layer schemas.

• Strengthen quality & security standards: Perform code reviews, add unit/integration tests, maintain CI/CD, monitoring/logging, dependency hygiene, and rollback plans.

• Document and deliver predictably: Maintain READMEs and changelogs, manage a release calendar, and collaborate in sprints via ClickUp/Notion.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience: 3–5+ years building websites or online shops with a track record of improving speed and reliability.

• Shopify or modern web strength: Strong Shopify theme expertise (Liquid, sections/templates) or strong React/TypeScript and the ability to ramp on Shopify quickly.

• Version control and delivery: Comfortable with Git/GitHub and basic CI/CD practices.

• Ownership mindset: You test thoroughly, consider edge cases, communicate risks early, and follow through.

• Languages: Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
