About the Role :

We are looking for a highly driven and customer-focused Product Manager / Group Product Manager to own the Identity, Login, Authentication, and Account Access experience across our digital platforms.

This role will be responsible for building secure, seamless, scalable, and frictionless authentication journeys that improve customer onboarding, login success rates, account security, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in consumer-facing authentication systems, identity management, security products, and platform thinking.

Key Responsibilities :

Identity & Authentication Product Ownership

• Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Identity, Login, Authentication, Authorization, and Account Recovery systems.
• Build seamless and secure login experiences across mobile apps, web, and partner ecosystems.
• Drive product initiatives around:
• OTP login
• Passwordless authentication
• Social login / SSO
• Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
• Biometric authentication
• Device binding and trust
• Session management
• Account recovery and fraud prevention
• Define scalable identity frameworks supporting millions of users and high transaction volumes.

Customer Experience & Funnel Optimization

• Improve login success rates, onboarding conversion, authentication speed, and account recovery experience.
• Minimize customer friction while maintaining high security and compliance standards.
• Optimize user journeys for signup, login, logout, verification, and re-authentication flows.
• Analyze drop-offs across authentication funnels and drive continuous improvements.

Security & Risk Management

• Partner closely with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams to strengthen platform security.
• Build fraud prevention and account protection mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive initiatives related to:
• Identity verification
• Device intelligence
• Suspicious activity detection
• Bot prevention
• Secure token/session architecture

Platform & Integrations

• Build scalable identity platforms and APIs for internal product teams and external integrations.
• Collaborate with platform engineering teams on authentication architecture and scalability.
• Enable unified customer identity across products and channels.
• Drive integration with CRM, personalization, payments, and customer support systems.

Data, Analytics & Experimentation

• Define and monitor KPIs such as:
• Login success rate
• Authentication latency
• Signup conversion
• OTP delivery success
• MFA adoption
• Account recovery success
• Fraud reduction metrics
• Use analytics, A/B testing, and customer insights to optimize authentication journeys.
• Partner with Data Science teams for risk scoring and intelligent authentication models.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, Design, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Translate complex technical concepts into customer-centric product strategies.
• Drive prioritization, roadmap execution, and leadership communication.
• Mentor junior Product Managers where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–14 years of Product Management experience in consumer internet.
• Strong experience in:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Authentication & Authorization systems
• Login/signup flows
• MFA, OTP, biometrics, SSO
• Fraud prevention and account security
• Understanding of authentication protocols and standards such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, etc.
• Experience working with high-scale mobile and web applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to balance customer experience with platform security requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and execution skills.
