Job Title: RF Account Manager - mmWave & Beamformer ICs
Location: REMOTE - we have offices in San Jose, CA, Chatham, NJ, and Southern California
Compensation: $160K - $200K base DOE plus bonus and stock options

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RF Account Manager to drive revenue and customer success for our mmWave and Beamformer IC (BFIC) product portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of mmWave RFICs, beamforming architectures and Antenna-in-Package (AiP)/phased array solutions with proven account management skills in commercial, SATCOM, and defense markets. This role is responsible for owning strategic customer relationships, securing design wins, leading forecasting and revenue planning, and coordinating cross-functional teams to accelerate product adoption and market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with customers and partners across commercial, SATCOM, and defense segments to drive adoption of mmWave and Beamformer IC solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and close design wins for BFICs, RFICs, and AiP/phased-array solutions by collaborating with customers system and RF design teams.
  • Act as the primary technical and commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, translating customer requirements into product opportunities and internal development priorities.
  • Lead account planning, forecasting and revenue planning for assigned customers, maintaining an accurate pipeline and quarterly/monthly revenue outlook.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (product management, applications engineering, marketing, supply chain and R&D) to support customer evaluations, prototype programs and production ramp.
  • Provide competitive and market intelligence on mmWave, beamforming, phased array and AiP technologies to influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategy.
  • Drive technical reviews, architecture discussions and system-level integration efforts with customer engineering teams to accelerate time-to-design-in.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, manage contract processes and support order capture through to production shipments.
  • Develop customer success programs, post-design-in support and escalation management to ensure long-term revenue retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings and technical conferences to promote products and build market presence.
  • Frequent travel to customers (40-50%)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent commercial experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of RF account management, field sales or business development experience with a focus on RFICs, mmWave or microwave product lines; experience selling into SATCOM or defense customers highly desirable.
  • Strong technical understanding of mmWave RFICs, beamformer ICs (BFICs), phased array antennas and Antenna-in-Package (AiP) integration.
  • Proven track record of achieving design wins and managing the customer lifecycle from evaluation to production shipment.
  • Experience with forecast-driven revenue planning, CRM pipeline management and quarterly sales forecasting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams including applications engineering, product management and R&D to resolve technical issues and meet customer timelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; able to engage at both technical and executive levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and procurement processes common in SATCOM and defense markets, including technical review boards and contract vehicles.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required (domestic and international).
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, customer focus, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced product development environment.
