Account Manager – Enterprise IT Staffing Accounts

Needham, MA | REMOTE Must be in the Greater Boston Area

You must have prior experience working for an IT staffing firm.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone from the IT staffing world who understands how to build trust, grow relationships, and create long-term client partnerships.

You’ve worked with hiring managers, navigated MSPs and VMS platforms, handled live accounts, and learned that success in staffing is built on responsiveness, credibility, and consistency. Maybe you’ve recruited. Maybe you’ve sold. Most likely, you’ve done both.

Now you’re looking for more ownership.

Not a “support” role.

Not an account you inherit but can’t influence.

Not another environment where growth is capped.

This role is for someone who wants to become a true strategic partner inside enterprise accounts, someone who enjoys relationship-building, expanding existing business, and becoming the person clients rely on when hiring gets difficult.


THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for someone to manage and grow multiple existing enterprise IT staffing accounts through strong relationship management, consistent communication, and strategic account expansion.

This is not a transactional staffing role focused on cold outreach alone. This is an opportunity to step into established client relationships and strengthen Overture’s presence across multiple organizations by becoming a trusted partner to hiring managers, delivery leaders, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.

You’ll inherit active business and existing relationships from day one, with the opportunity to deepen partnerships, uncover new hiring initiatives, and expand our footprint across different teams and departments.

You’ll play a key role in helping clients solve difficult hiring challenges across areas like cybersecurity, cloud, AI, software engineering, and digital transformation by connecting them with talent that is both technically strong and culturally aligned.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing and growing multiple enterprise IT staffing accounts
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers, delivery leaders, procurement teams, and stakeholders
  • Expanding existing business by identifying new teams, projects, and hiring initiatives
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and day-to-day point of contact for clients
  • Partnering closely with recruiters to deliver highly aligned candidates who fit both technically and culturally
  • Helping clients navigate hiring challenges by delivering talent that drives long-term success, not short-term fixes
  • Using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and AI tools to work efficiently and stay organized
  • Staying proactive, visible, and engaged with your accounts — not waiting for problems to surface
  • Supporting consultants and clients throughout the engagement lifecycle to help ensure strong outcomes and long-term partnerships

This is a relationship-driven role built around trust, responsiveness, accountability, and long-term account growth.

WHERE YOU’LL BE DOING IT


We’re a remote-first team, but this is not a work-from-anywhere role.

You must be located in the Greater Boston area and comfortable traveling to client sites for meetings, relationship-building, and onsite engagement when needed.

We also have office space in Needham, MA, available for collaboration, training, team meetings, and working alongside leadership and recruiters.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

Base salary of $70K–100K plus commission.

Realistic earnings of $100K–200K within your first two years.
