Due to a large number of opportunities, we are looking for a driven Sales Coordinator / Tender Specialist to strengthen the Sarens Projects team. In this role, you aim to
provide clients with a structured, solution-oriented, and clear proposal within the
agreed timeline. In collaboration with the Key Account Manager, you clarify the proposal and respondto the client's questions.
Your Future Responsibilities As a Tender Specialist Include
Your future responsibilities in a nutshell:
- You analyse and summarise client requests and tender documents, identifying technical, commercial and planning requirements.
- You develop technical-commercial proposals for heavy lifting and engineered transport projects together with the responsible Key Account Manager or Sales Manager.
- You coordinate input from internal stakeholders (Engineering, Logistics, HR, SHEQ, Finance, etc.) and guard deadlines to submit complete, structured and high-quality offers.
- You prepare cost calculations, support pricing decisions and review them together with the Sales Support Manager and/or management.
- You ensure that all proposals are submitted on time, in line with internal approvals, and you follow up questions or clarifications with the client in coordination with Sales.
- You act as a proud Sarens ambassador, providing professional support to our global Sales and Projects organisation.
- You report to the Sales Support Manager and work from Sarens HQ, Wolvertem, in close collaboration with the wider Sales Support and Project teams.
Customer focus, drive, and proactivity are key to success in this role.
What You Bring To Team Blue
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field (e.g. engineering, electromechanics, construction) or equivalent through experience.
- Interest in or experience with sales support, technical inside sales or tender engineering (experience in a project or industrial environment is a plus).
- Technical affinity with heavy lifting and/or exceptional transport, or a strong eagerness to learn and build this knowledge quickly.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch or French, with a good working knowledge of English so you can interact with colleagues and clients in our international context.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A structured and precise way of working, with great attention to detail and documentation quality.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused attitude, with the courage to ask questions and challenge assumptions when needed.
- A genuine interest in working safely and contributing to reliable, high-quality project execution for our clients worldwide.
