Team Manager Accounts Payable & Receivable (f/m/d)
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Collaboration: You provide both technical and managerial leadership to the Accounts Payable, Receivable and Cross Services team within the “Accounting Services” division, and work closely with our Shared Service Center in Brașov.
- Operational Excellence: You ensure high quality and efficiency in operational accounting by working with both teams to identify opportunities for optimization and implement them in a pragmatic manner.
- Financial Statements: You are responsible for day-to-day operations as well as the preparation of periodic financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
- Digitalization & Projects: You drive the digitalization and automation of accounting, lead projects, and support S/4HANA rollouts.
- Compliance: You ensure that your team reviews travel expense reports.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Together with your team, you are responsible for accounts receivable, trade credit insurance, and receivables and collections processes.
- Cross Services: You and your team manage and are responsible for master data changes as well as compliant billing of services, including governance and quality assurance.
- Interfaces & Contacts: You work closely with Corporate IT, Corporate Tax, Purchasing, and Controlling Services, act as a key user for your processes, and serve as the primary point of contact for financial auditors and tax examiners.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on accounting or equivalent.
- Leadership Skills: Experienced in the technical and disciplinary management of teams - appreciative, motivating, and on an equal footing.
- Change Management: Confident leadership of transformation and digitalization projects at the international level.
- Accounting: Practical knowledge of accounting within corporate structures, ideally in shared service organizations.
- Financial Reporting: Proficiency in preparing HGB and IFRS financial statements.
- SAP: Very good knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana FI, CO, MM, and Concur.
- Collaboration & Language: A structured, solution-oriented approach to work, as well as strong communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally. Very good English and German language skills round out your profile.
