We’re looking for a Linux Support Engineer to join a Level 2 Hotline Support team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting across a complex product stack, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- You’ll act as a primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email, providing timely support and clear resolutions.
- You’ll also carry out remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques, investigating issues across systems, hardware, and software. This includes identifying root causes, collaborating with internal support teams, and guiding users on the appropriate solutions.
- You have a background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT field (or equivalent experience).
- You bring solid experience with Linux servers, along with a good understanding of web and application servers such as Tomcat, Nginx, or Apache. Exposure to high availability frameworks (e.g. Veritas, Monit, RHCS) is a plus.
- You’re comfortable analyzing logs, troubleshooting issues, and working with scripting languages like Bash or Python in a Unix/Linux environment.
- You communicate clearly in English, work well in a team, and approach problems with a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
