• Experience working with Peruvian financial regulations (SBS), SUNAT, RENIEC, Infocorp, Sentinel, and other relevant industry stakeholders is highly preferred
• Track record leading engineering teams of 30+ people in high-growth environments
• Proven experience building and scaling credit or payment platforms in production
• Production experience with: Node.js, TypeScript, Vue 3, Nuxt 3, MongoDB, Apache Fineract
• Advanced AWS proficiency: ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation/CDK, CloudWatch

• Practical application of AI/ML for risk prediction: LLMs (Claude/OpenAI), automation (n8n), predictive risk models

Define and execute the technology strategy for a regulated fintech platform connecting entrepreneurs with investors. Lead architecture decisions across microservices, Node.js/TypeScript, Vue 3/Nuxt 3, MongoDB, Apache Fineract, and AWS. Build and mentor a 40-person technology organization while ensuring security, scalability, and compliance with SBS regulations. Transform technology into a competitive advantage for credit origination, scoring, and digital lending operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned to business growth in Peru's fintech capital markets
• Own platform architecture: microservices on AWS with Node.js/TypeScript backend and Vue 3/Nuxt 3 frontend
• Lead 40-person technology organization through direct reports (IT Manager) and matrixed Tech Leads
• Ensure system availability, security posture, and scalability for loan origination and credit management systems
• Drive product roadmap including integrations with SUNAT, Infocorp/Sentinel, RENIEC and digital channels
• Establish engineering standards: software quality, QA processes, DevSecOps practices and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate and deploy emerging technologies: AI/ML for credit scoring, LLM-powered automation and data analytics
• Manage annual technology budget across AWS infrastructure ($10K/month), SaaS licenses and headcount
