## About this role

This early-career fullstack role offers recent graduates the opportunity to rapidly grow by building real products. As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to and gradually take ownership of core product features from end-to-end. Your primary focus will be on enhancing Zara, our AI Recruiter agent, shaping its operations, scalability, and user value, all while being mentored by experienced engineers.

## Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop fullstack systems that power core product workflows. - Build backend services and APIs with a focus on clean, maintainable code. - Develop user-facing features and interfaces that are delivered directly to real users. - Support data modeling efforts and learn best practices for database performance and scalability. - Collaborate with product and design teams to transform ideas into functional features. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering quality. - Assist in debugging issues and maintaining reliable production systems. - Enhance your ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-paced environment.

## Qualifications

- Recent graduate (or graduating soon) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience through internships, academic projects, or personal projects. - Solid fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript. - Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React (or similar). - Experience with backend development (Node.js). - Exposure to databases (PostgreSQL or similar) and general data modeling concepts. - Understanding of API functionality and application communication. - Curiosity, strong willingness to learn, and attention to detail.

## Nice to Have (Not Required)

- Internship experience in software engineering. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD basics, or deployment workflows. - Interest in AI, data-driven products, or modern system design. - Experience working on team projects or hackathons.

## Work Terms

Full-time position, remote work with a requirement to overlap at least 6-8 hours with the PST timezone.

## Compensation

Annual compensation ranges from $180,000 to $250,000, with eligibility for equity compensation and performance-based bonuses, subject to company policies.
