## About the role

We are looking for talented people to help us design, optimize and maintain our state-of-the-art AI poker engine. As a Machine Learning Scientist in the engine team, you'll have a key role in building and optimizing the training and inference performance of our deep learning models served in production to our users. You will also be implementing state-of-the-art algorithms and actively collaborating with other team members to find novel approaches to optimize our machine learning pipeline. A strong theoretical background in machine learning and algorithms is essential, and a passion for poker is a big plus. If you are passionate about pushing beyond the state-of-the-art and solving complex problems this role is for you.

## In this role you will:

- Improve the performance of our machine learning models - Continuously oversee the performance of models in production and develop monitoring tools to gain deeper insights into areas for model performance enhancement - Collaborate with a team of researchers and engineers to design, implement and maintain innovative solutions to complex problems - Reduce the training and inference time of our ML pipeline - Drive projects and lead new initiatives in MLOps

## What you bring to GTO Wizard:

- Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience - Applied research experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results - Extensive expertise in machine learning, with in-depth, hands-on experience in reinforcement learning or game theory - Exceptional communication, cross discipline collaboration and leadership skills - Passion for games and how intelligent systems can teach humans problem solving skills
