Growth Marketing Associate (Web3 / DeFi Infrastructure)
On behalf of our client, an established and scaling Web3 data infrastructure network, we are managing the search for a highly autonomous Growth Marketing professional. They build mission-critical data architecture used directly by decentralized finance (DeFi) applications to ensure smart contracts operate reliably with accurate, real-time market inputs.
As they enter a new growth phase focused on deeper integration with large, high-usage DeFi protocols, we are seeking a candidate who can translate complex infrastructure mechanics into compelling, social-first narratives that resonate with a developer and protocol-builder audience.
Role snapshot:
- Location: Remote global, with a strong preference for a CET or CEST friendly timezone for team overlap.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional growth marketing, product marketing, or content experience, with a proven track record in the Web3 space.
- Agreement Type: B2B agreement with compensation paid entirely in stablecoins.
- Focus: B2B developer-centric growth, organic social distribution, partner co-marketing, and technical storytelling.
What you’ll do:
- Own day-to-day social execution and brand presence across X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Telegram, moving projects from raw technical updates to high-performing content pipelines.
- Turn raw developer inputs, product updates, contract deployments, and technical research into highly structured public narratives, educational threads, and campaign hooks.
- Build and maintain direct marketing relationships with ecosystem partners, core protocol contributors, and developer communities.
- Design and execute end-to-end B2B campaign structures, including joint partner announcements, network integrations, and multi-channel launch blueprints.
- Collaborate closely with internal product teams, developers, and founders to translate technical documentation into clear, accurate positioning for a DeFi-native audience.
- Track industry-wide on-chain events and act quickly with reactive, high-signal contextual content.
You’re a strong fit if you have:
- Minimum of 4 years of total professional marketing experience, ensuring a strong foundation in digital growth, campaign architecture, and analytics.
- At least 2 to 3 years of active marketing experience deeply embedded inside the Web3/crypto space, demonstrating that you have operated through market cycles and understand protocol environments.
- Practical and solid literacy in DeFi primitives. You must be completely comfortable discussing concepts like oracle networks, smart contract logic, liquidity pools, perps, lending protocols, yield-bearing vaults, Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, and Layer 2 dynamics.
- Strong B2B or Product Marketing (PMM) mindset. You understand how to market to developer and institutional audiences rather than chasing retail user volume or airdrop farming loops.
- High operational autonomy. This is a lean function with high ownership. You must be a self-contained content operator who writes their own copy and builds supporting visual assets using tools like Figma or Canva without relying on an external creative agency.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with the ability to adapt tone to match a precise, authoritative, and builder-first technical voice.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience working directly inside parallel Web3 oracle networks, developer middleware layers, or prominent Layer 2 infrastructure environments.
- An established professional network consisting of DeFi core contributors, smart contract engineers, and Web3 project managers.
- Advanced visual or multimedia execution skills, such as the ability to design data flow diagrams or technical system architectures independently inside Figma.
