Job Summary
As a Senior Executive Assistant at Palo Alto Networks, you will serve as a trusted business partner to one Senior Vice President and two Vice Presidents within our IT organization. In this highly visible role, you'll help leaders operate at their highest level by driving organization, prioritization, and execution across a fast paced, global business.
Success in this role requires far more than exceptional administrative skills. You are proactive, resourceful, and anticipate needs before they arise. You exercise sound judgment, thrive under pressure, and confidently navigate competing priorities with professionalism and discretion. You are equally comfortable managing complex executive calendars as you are coordinating Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), town halls, team events, and strategic business initiatives that keep the organization operating smoothly.

This is an office-based position at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner to one Senior Vice President and two Vice Presidents, helping maximize leadership effectiveness through proactive planning, prioritization, and execution.
- Manage highly complex executive calendars, balancing competing priorities while ensuring leaders are prepared for every engagement.
- Anticipate executive needs by proactively preparing agendas, briefing materials, presentations, meeting logistics, and follow up actions.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, executive communications, presentations, and confidential business activities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Plan and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), leadership meetings, town halls, all hands meetings, off sites, morale activities, and team events.
- Partner across organizations to coordinate business priorities, annual planning activities, and special initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across the company while serving as a central point of coordination for executive priorities.
- Anticipate challenges before they arise, exercise sound judgment, and proactively solve problems with minimal direction.
- Identify opportunities to improve executive operating rhythms, communication, and organizational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant community to share best practices and deliver a seamless leadership support experience.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting senior executives, including Vice President and/or Senior Vice President leaders within a high tech, enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity company.
- Proven ability to thrive in a high performance environment while managing multiple competing priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing complex executive calendars, global travel, executive communications, and confidential business activities.
- Experience coordinating executive level meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), town halls, all hands meetings, team events, and organizational activities.
- Executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the confidence to interact effectively with senior leaders, customers, and cross functional partners.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, think several steps ahead, and operate with sound judgment and discretion.
- Highly organized with exceptional prioritization and project management skills.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and resilient, with the grit to navigate ambiguity and perform under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, enterprise calendaring tools, and expense management systems such as Concur.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
$101,000.00 - $163,000.00/yr
