Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations - managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. Description
This role will be central to maintaining the operational backbone of Apple's global data center & networking team. You will be responsible for managing the capital expenditures and reporting on operating expenses. A key focus will be driving third-party cloud cost management, including optimization programs, identifying opportunities, and implementing solutions to enhance financial efficiency and resource utilization. You will actively contribute to the improvement of our operational tools by providing feedback, managing enhancement requests, and collaborating with development teams to ensure tooling meets business needs. Through these efforts, you will communicate findings, provide recommendations, and ensure system integrity to influence decision-making and align teams across our organization. Overall, this position offers invaluable experience to have an impact within a strategic organization as well as significant responsibility and interaction with senior leadership.

Responsibilities:
Manage capital expenditures and report on operating expenses for Apple's global data center and networking team.
Drive third-party cloud cost management by implementing optimization programs and identifying opportunities to enhance financial efficiency and resource utilization.
Actively contribute to the improvement of operational tools by providing feedback, managing enhancement requests, and collaborating with development teams.
Communicate findings, provide recommendations, and ensure system integrity to influence decision-making and align teams across the organization.
Support, collaborate, and communicate effectively across multi-functional teams to build solid working relationships and deliver promised results.
Maintain system data and manage financial processes, driving process improvements to support the operational backbone of the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to communicate insights.
Experience with financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials) or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Experience driving cost optimization initiatives, particularly in cloud environments.
Familiarity with tools and processes for managing employee and contractor resourcing.
Experience with capital project creation and lifecycle management within enterprise systems.
Demonstrated experience in cloud cost management platforms (e.g., Cloudability, native cloud provider cost tools).
Experience with Tableau, including Tableau Server, TabPy, Extensions, and Tableau Prep.
Experience contributing to or managing tooling enhancements and feature requests with engineering teams.
High attention to detail, organized, and motivated self-starter that is able to work independently, meet assigned deadlines, and handle various projects at one time.
Ability to excel in a multi-functional environment through clear communication, relationship building, and presentation of complex subjects to executive management.
Experience scaling processes, systems, and controls.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or equivalent job-related experience.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, management consulting, financial operations, cloud cost management, or a related field.
Proven experience analyzing large data sets and using related tools (e.g., Numbers, Excel, Tableau).
Ability to articulate and translate business requirements into system and process solutions, paired with excellent stakeholder management.
Proven experience with system data maintenance and ensuring data integrity.
Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
Ability to balance competing priorities, long-term projects, and ad hoc requirements.
Strong time management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,500 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
