Location: Remote – LATAM Preferred (Eastern Europe Considered)
Type of Contract: Contract | Staff Augmentation (6–12 Months, Renewable)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong SQL expertise, hands-on Python experience, and cloud data platform knowledge to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting platform integrations, maintaining data pipelines, and enabling customer onboarding within a high-impact enterprise environment. Your work will directly impact data reliability, operational efficiency, and the successful integration of forecasting technology into a core planning platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot data integrations and ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.
- Develop and optimize complex queries across PostgreSQL and Snowflake environments.
- Support day-to-day data operations, customer onboarding activities, and platform maintenance.
- Monitor pipeline performance, investigate issues, and implement solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Assist with the integration of acquired forecasting technology into an existing planning platform.
- Work with AWS services including S3, RDS, and EC2 to support cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers to improve data quality, optimize workflows, and document processes.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong PostgreSQL experience and advanced SQL skills, including joins, window functions, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Solid Python programming skills with experience using libraries such as pandas and numpy.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3, RDS, and EC2.
- Experience working with Snowflake, including data warehousing and query optimization.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, and data integration best practices.
- Experience using Git and collaborative software development workflows.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on data quality and reliability.
- Availability to work UK business hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM UK time).
- Strong English communication skills with a proactive, highly collaborative work style.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling methodologies.
- Experience with additional AWS services such as Redshift, Glue, or Lambda.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Interest in cloud-agnostic architecture and scalable platform design.
- Experience supporting enterprise software integrations or platform migrations.
