About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong foundation in Ruby and experience with the Padrino framework. This role plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that power our core business operations. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Ruby and Padrino - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party applications. - Write clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to best practices and security standards. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. - Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance - Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular. - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional and user-friendly interfaces. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance - Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 security standards and best practices in secure development Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Ruby - Strong experience with the Padrino framework (or Sinatra) - Strong proficiency with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases - Extensive experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns - Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) - Excellent testing skills, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders - Passion for learning new technologies and a continuous improvement mindset - Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues - Demonstrated experience with MongoDB Cloud services and AWS environments, including deployment, management, and optimization - Solid experience in developing and maintaining front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular, or similar)
