The Role

• Lead the research, development and validation of advanced machine learning models, including Generative AI and large language models.
• Design and deliver synthetic data and data augmentation solutions that enhance existing data assets.
• Run complex statistical experiments to test model performance and validate hypotheses.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to move models from prototype into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Translate business problems into clear, data-driven AI initiatives and communicate outcomes to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Contribute to the wider AI and data science roadmap, setting best practice and technical standards.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Data Scientist working on end-to-end machine learning projects.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI, large language models and their application to text generation or data synthesis.
• Advanced Python skills within a data science and machine learning stack, alongside strong SQL capability.
• Solid grounding in statistical methods, experimentation and model evaluation.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and modern data platforms.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
