Staff Technical Recruiter

Role Overview

The Staff Technical Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting for technical, R&D roles across Mapbox, partnering closely with engineering & product to bring in the talent that drives our core platform forward. The role will play a key part in establishing and scaling our recruiting capability in the region and beyond.

What You Will Do

Manage end-to-end recruiting across all R&D functions from initial research and sourcing to offer negotiations and closing. Build and execute data-driven sourcing strategies that leverage a global network of high-caliber technical talent.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience
• Proven track record of hiring Software Development Engineers & Engineering Managers within high-growth tech environments
• Experience hiring technical talent across Europe within Finland, Germany, Poland and the UK
• Experience hiring within the US is a strong bonus
• Closing Mastery: Expert at navigating negotiations involving competitive compensation packages, equity structures, and buy-out scenarios
• Data-Driven Rigor: A commitment to using market intelligence and funnel analytics to optimize pipeline health and influence decisions
• AI & Innovation: Passion for leveraging AI and emerging technologies to continuously evolve recruiting practices
• High-Touch Engagement: A communication style and cadence that builds immediate trust with top talent and maintains long-term candidate pipelines
