Role Overview
The Solution Assessment Technical Consultant plays a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality Microsoft Solution Assessments, enabling customers to evaluate their existing IT landscape and build actionable strategies for cloud, security, and AI transformation. This is a hybrid or remote role, with flexibility for regional or global delivery alignment and working hours tailored to customer engagement requirements and supported time zones.
What You Will Do
Execute end-to-end Solution Assessments across Azure, Security, and Copilot portfolios. Plan, deploy, discover, analyze, and report on technical environments, ensuring quality, accuracy, and completeness of outputs. Manage multiple concurrent assessment engagements within defined timelines, balancing priorities and stakeholder expectations.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in technical consulting, pre-sales, or solution delivery
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience within the Microsoft ecosystem (as FTE, vendor, or partner)
- Experience supporting customers in cloud migration, modernization, or security transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure), Microsoft 365, and Security solutions
- Experience with migration and assessment tools, including deployment and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of cloud migration and modernization strategies (e.g., rehost, refactor, rearchitect, TCO analysis)
- Familiarity with security and governance frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, CIS benchmarks, data security and compliance models)
- Ability to integrate outputs across cloud, security, and AI solutions and translate complex technical data into actionable business insights
- Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required, basic English proficiency is sufficient for internal communication with global teams and management
