## Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy 2D games using the Defold engine, ensuring optimal performance and minimal build sizes. - Implement robust gameplay mechanics and systems utilizing Lua scripting in a modular architecture. - Collaborate closely with designers and artists to rapidly iterate on game prototypes and refine user experience. - Optimize games for smooth performance across various mobile and web platforms. - Maintain efficient, well-documented code and adhere to best practices in game development. - Debug, profile, and resolve performance issues to ensure stable game releases. - Contribute creative solutions to technical challenges and provide input on gameplay and UI enhancements.

## Qualifications

- Proven experience developing and shipping 2D games using the Defold engine. - Proficiency in Lua scripting and understanding of component-based game architectures. - Strong track record in producing lightweight, performance-optimized builds for mobile and web. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach. - Demonstrated ability to iterate quickly and deliver results in an agile environment. - Solid understanding of deployment processes for various platforms. - Attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging user experiences.
