Senior Product Manager

About the Role
We are a fast-growing premium outdoor product brand focused on beautifully designed lighting and heating solutions that enhance outdoor spaces. We are expanding globally and building a high-performing team to scale.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the product roadmap and lead the development of world-class physical products. This is a senior role working closely with the CEO and collaborating with engineers, designers, and manufacturing partners worldwide.

• Lead end-to-end product development from concept to mass production
• Translate product vision into PRDs, engineering briefs, and sprint plans
• Manage sprint planning across mechanical, electrical, and design teams
• Drive feasibility, DFM, prototyping, testing, and certification
• Continuously improve existing products (design, materials, performance)
• Own BOM targets, landed cost modelling, and margin optimisation
• Support supplier relationships alongside leadership
• Track product performance, defects, and iteration cycles
• Build and refine product processes, systems, and documentation
• Ensure alignment with brand, commercial, and operational goals

• 4+ years' experience managing physical products with electronics
• Proven track record taking products to mass production
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and DFM
• Highly structured, process-driven, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable managing remote teams
• Commercially aware with strong margin focus
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and thrives in fast-paced environments
• Clear communicator who executes reliably

You'll play a key role in shaping a global product portfolio and building a scalable product innovation engine. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact on product strategy and growth.

• Hours: 9:00-17:30 (SA time)
• Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week in Newlands, W17)
• Compensation: R80 000 - R120 000 basic + incentives
