Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Teaching and Curriculum
- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level business courses including (but not limited to):
- Principles of Management
- Organizational Behavior
- Business Ethics
- Strategic Management
- Leadership and Organizational Development
- Teach a combination of online and on-campus courses.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum to ensure academic quality and relevance.
- Provide oversight and leadership for all business programs within the division.
- Supervise and support full-time and adjunct faculty, including hiring, mentoring, and evaluation.
- Ensure course scheduling, faculty assignments, and instructional quality in coordination with the Registrar and Academic Office.
- Lead program assessment, accreditation support, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain alignment of all division activities with the mission and values of SFBC&TS.
- Advise and mentor a select number of students.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and institutional events.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing to support recruitment and enrollment efforts.
- Support the development of partnerships that enhance internships and career pathways for students.
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
- Demonstrated academic or administrative leadership experience.
- Professional experience in business, management, or organizational leadership.
- Earned doctorate in Business Administration, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and instructional technologies.
- A dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning;
- The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level business courses;
- Demonstrated leadership capacity to oversee and develop academic programs;
- Facility with online instructional technology; and
- A willingness to embrace the institution's Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
