Job Summary

The Demand Forecasting Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, data-driven forecasts that enable Vilore Foods to meet customer demand, optimize inventory, and drive business growth. This role plays a critical part in the FORWISE process by aligning cross-functional inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure we 'Know Our Numbers' and execute with excellence. The analyst partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align forecasts with market dynamics, promotional activity, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate translates complex data into actionable insights, supporting a goal-oriented culture and reinforcing our commitment to customer service and operational excellence.


Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain statistical demand forecasts across SKUs, customers, and channels
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotions, launches, and market intelligence into forecasts
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve models and assumptions
  • Identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Support the monthly S&OP process to align demand, supply, and financial plans
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory levels and service performance
  • Ensure data integrity across ERP and forecasting systems while managing planning tools
  • Own and manage company demand planning tools (e.g., New Horizon or similar systems)


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Forecast Accuracy (MAPE) ≤ 15%
  • Forecast Bias within ±5%
  • Inventory Turns improvement year-over-year
  • Service Level (Fill Rate) ≥ 98%
  • Reduction in Obsolete/Excess Inventory
  • On-time S&OP submission and alignment


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years in demand planning, forecasting, or analytics (CPG preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
  • Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (SAP, New Horizon, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex datasets and multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be a skilled cross-functional collaborator.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights for a wide range of audiences
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) required.
