La Panadería is a fast-growing, family-owned restaurant and bakery brand known for artisan bread, scratch-made food, and exceptional hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and support the continued growth of our multi-location business.

This is a highly operational role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, understands multi-unit financial operations, and has hands-on experience with Restaurant365 (R365).

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple restaurant locations and entities
• Lead month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational accounting processes
• Oversee weekly payroll processes in partnership with the company’s PEO provider, ensuring payroll accuracy, reconciliations, labor reporting, and compliance
• Maintain and optimize Restaurant365 (R365) systems, workflows, and reporting
• Monitor labor, food cost, cash flow, and operational financial performance
• Partner with ownership and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
• Coordinate with external CPA firms, auditors, vendors, and benefit partners
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies
• Provide leadership with actionable financial insights to support operational decision-making

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of accounting or finance leadership experience
• Restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit operational accounting experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on Restaurant365 (R365) experience required
• Experience managing high-volume and/or weekly payroll cycles
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&Ls, labor metrics, inventory, and cost controls
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• CPA required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
