Our client, a leading global multinational information technology services and consulting company, is recruiting a Tech Lead Engineer (Network) to join their business in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute configuration changes on IP/MPLS network elements and routers
• Integrate new network elements, links, and cards into the existing IP/MPLS infrastructure
• Support internal teams by enabling connectivity of their equipment to the IP/MPLS network
• Remotely execute and validate network changes during scheduled maintenance windows and migration

Requirements:

• 15 years of experience in Service Provider or large enterprise IP/MPLS networks
• Advanced knowledge of core IP networking protocols and technologies: IP/MPLS IS IS, OSPF, BGP, QoS (Quality of Service), Layer 2 Carrier Ethernet services, Layer 2 Aggregation domains
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS XR, Juniper JunOS, Nokia SR OS or Huawei NE8000 OS
• Industry certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE SP, NRS II, or equivalent
• Proven ability to work in high availability, mission critical network environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently during network changes
• Be open, honest, and transparent, with excellent attention to detail
• German speaking (B2 or above) and English speaking
