Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Process and record new insurance policies and claims.
- Maintain client files in the Agency Management System for all transactions.
- Correspond with insureds and agents regarding account status and changes.
- Prepare proposals and applications and follow up for timely responses.
- Provide technical service and expertise during new business and renewal processes.
- Assist with quoting, marketing, and gathering underwriting information.
- Prepare renewal and new business proposals and presentations.
- Bind coverage, issue certificates, and request endorsements.
- Analyze policies for accuracy based on presented proposals.
- Follow agency procedures and utilize integrated software systems.
- Collaborate with Senior Account Executives on complex accounts.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance coverages.
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients and underwriters.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience interacting with agency software platforms.
- 3-5+ years of commercial insurance experience preferred.
- Professional experience is highly valued; degree preferred.
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
- AMS360 preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- Ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
