We are supporting a leading international company in solar tracker technology, recognized globally for delivering innovative solutions that optimize the performance of utility-scale PV projects.

With a strong presence worldwide, the company is experiencing rapid growth and is expanding its footprint across the UK & Ireland.



The role

As Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth across the UK & Ireland, developing strategic relationships with IPPs, EPCs, and key stakeholders in the solar market. This is a high-impact, client-facing role, combining business development, key account management, and full sales cycle ownership.


Key responsibilities:

  • Continuously establish and develop business relationships with new and existing customers, expanding sales coverage of the company in UK & Ireland and providing strong service to the new and existing accounts.
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of the company's sales plan in the UK & Ireland.
  • Proactively find new accounts to develop additional business in the region.
  • Identify and develop key accounts in the UK & Ireland markets. Negotiation and follow up of contracts.
  • Manage the entire selling process from forecasting to actual product delivery and payment collection for all the key accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the company's related internal departments.
  • Communication with customers on issues relating to their upcoming projects.
  • Coordinate with Back Office to ensure availability and timely delivery of tracker solutions, and to advise customers of delivery status.
  • Maintain close relationships and communication with existing key accounts to understand their needs regarding technical, financial, logistic and marketing support, and organize internal resources to meet those needs and identify new business opportunities.
  • Analyze and monitor account customer data, and develop reports on a regular basis based on customer information and development trends.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all activities under the managed accounts to the Regional Director on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis.
  • Represent the company in local and national exhibitions and conferences.
  • Stay up to date with market information, including competitors and customers benchmarking and technical and financial market requirements.
  • Rolling Forecast.


The profile we are looking for:


5+ years previous experience within a similar role in the solar PV sector.

Bachelor's/master's in civil, Industrial Engineering, Business Administrati.

Strong bias for customer satisfaction.

Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence peers.

Proactive self-starter and problem solver.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Innovative dynamic and thrives under an ever-changing market.

Self-motivated and able to effectively manage his/her time.

Quick thinker, and proactive.

Passionate in their approach to the Industry and able to promote this passion in a professional manner regardless of the level of the clients he is addressing.

Flexible to travel.

Native languages skills in English, other languages are a benefit
