What you’ll be doing


As the Senior National Account Manager – Coles, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our PZ Cussons ANZ strategy, with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth, strengthening category leadership, and deepening the strategic partnership with Coles.


This role is responsible for end-to-end commercial leadership of the Coles account, with full P&L ownership and accountability. It combines strategic planning with best-in-class execution to deliver sales, profit, and market share growth.


Key responsibilities for the role include:


  • Own end-to-end financial accountability for Coles, including revenue, margin, trade spend, forecasting, and IBP delivery.
  • Manage tradex, accruals, risks, and opportunities with strong financial discipline, while ensuring accurate administration, reporting, and claims processing.
  • Lead the strategic partnership with Coles to deliver category growth across financial, market, and brand metrics.
  • Develop and execute aligned business and joint business plans, leverage insights for competitive advantage, and ensure strong stakeholder alignment and performance governance.
  • Own ranging, pricing negotiations, and promotional planning to maximise trade spend ROI. Drive strong promotional execution, particularly ½ price activity, through effective planning, negotiation, and post-promotion evaluation.
  • Act as the central accountability point for all Coles activity, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution from forecasting to in-store delivery and best-in-class operational performance.


What you’ll bring


Ideally 6 years+ in FMCG Account Management, including experience with managing Coles

or Woolworths

A Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field

Demonstrated experienced owning P&L and delivery of commercial targets

A strong negotiator, with the ability to influence major retail customers

High level of financial acumen, with strong analytical capability and mindset

Proven ability and confidence dealing with an ambiguous environment

Excellent stakeholder management and cross functional leadership skill
