As a Senior Global Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to own and lead the global business relationship with one of our most significant strategic accounts. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by driving profitable growth, shaping long‑term account strategy, and strengthening high‑value customer partnerships that are essential to the future success of our Work Furniture business. So, what will you be doing as a Senior Global Business Manager?
- Owning and driving the global business relationship for assigned key accounts, developing deep, trusted relationships with senior leaders across product management, product development, and supply chain.
- Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive account strategy to grow existing business, secure new opportunities, and expand our portfolio within the customer.
- Proactively identifying and advancing new product development opportunities to increase share of wallet and drive profitable sales growth.
- Conducting periodic business reviews with key customer stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and forward momentum.
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability within assigned accounts.
- Providing customer‑driven insights to guide new product development and innovation.
- Collaborating across internal teams—including sales, engineering, quality, finance, customer service, and legal—to deliver seamless execution and exceptional customer value.
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need
- 10–15+ years of experience in account management or comparable customer‑facing roles within large, complex organizations.
- A proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving key commercial KPIs.
- Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus, influence cross‑functional teams, and serve as a trusted partner to executive‑level stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to deliver concise, compelling presentations to senior leadership.
- High financial acumen and the ability to use data to guide decision‑making.
- Technical aptitude; mechanical or manufacturing knowledge is beneficial.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.
- Experience working with global accounts or within global business structures.
- Familiarity with ZOHO CRM and Power BI.
- Background in manufacturing environments or the furniture industry.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic manufacturing processes.
