AI Product Manager

Job Summary:

Apex IT is seeking a hands-on AI Product Manager to own and drive AI-powered product development across internal tooling and Apex-owned IP. This role treats tools, platforms, and accelerators as products, with Apex delivery teams and customers as the primary users.

The focus is on applied, production AI with three clear outcomes:

1. Building AI-driven tools and platforms that improve developer and delivery team productivity across implementations
2. Creating Apex-owned IP (accelerators, agents, frameworks, platforms) that can be reused internally and delivered to customers or published to marketplaces
3. Evangelizing practical AI usage to embed effective, responsible AI-assisted development into how Apex builds and delivers solutions

This is a builder-focused product role with accountability for measurable gains in delivery efficiency, quality, reuse, and customer value.

Duties/Responsibilities:

AI Tools, Platforms, and Developer Productivity

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle for AI-driven tools, platforms, and accelerators used by delivery teams and customers
• Identify repeatable friction in implementation and development workflows and translate them into scalable, AI-enabled capabilities
• Drive automation and augmentation across areas such as requirements refinement, configuration and code generation, testing and validation, data migration, integration setup, and delivery documentation
• Define and track clear outcome metrics (e.g., productivity gains, cycle-time reduction, quality improvements, adoption)

Apex IP & Product Development

• Identify opportunities to produce internal tools and patterns into Apex-owned IP for customer use
• Own roadmap, prioritization, and scope for IP-backed tools and platforms
• Partner with engineering to ensure solutions are reusable, secure, configurable, and enterprise-ready
• Support packaging, demos, enablement, and marketplace readiness where applicable

AI Evangelism & Enablement

• Act as the product owner and champion for AI-assisted development and delivery
• Establish clear patterns, best practices, and guardrails for effective AI usage across tools and platforms
• Drive adoption through playbooks, demos, examples, and direct engagement with delivery and engineering teams
• Partner with sales and delivery leadership to articulate Apex’s practical, value-driven AI approach to customers

Product Execution

• Own product scope, roadmap, and prioritization across tooling, platforms, and IP initiatives
• Write clearly, outcome-driven requirements focused on delivery and implementation impact
• Drive alignment across engineering, delivery, sales, and leadership
• Deliver incremental, production-ready releases with measurable impact

Competency (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• 5+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of products from discovery through delivery
• Proven experience building tools, platforms, or enablement products used by developers, delivery teams, or customers
• Demonstrated ability to turn ambiguous problems into shipped, production solutions
• Hands-on experience delivering AI-enabled tools or platforms, including practical use of LLMs, workflow automation, and AI guardrails
• Experience with AI-assisted coding and development platforms (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex) and familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent/tooling integrations
• Strong technical fluency and ability to work closely with engineering teams on feasibility and tradeoffs
• Clear, concise written communication skills with a consistent focus on outcomes and impact
• Experience with Oracle AI Agent Studio and/or Salesforce Agent force is a plus
