Product Manager — Website Builder
Indexed description
The charter: Own Razorpay's website builder for SME merchants. Rethink what a merchant website should look like in the agentic world — AI-native, intelligent, and built in minutes, not days.
What we need:
- AI-native product vision — you're not iterating on a drag-and-drop builder. You're asking: what does a website look like when an agent builds it for you? When it updates itself based on business context or user persona? When the merchant just describes what they want?
- Strong design sensibility — you care about what merchants see and experience. Templates, themes, responsiveness, SEO, AEO — you have opinions on all of it.
- Builder DNA — you prototype, you hack, you test. You've built something with LLMs and understand what they're good at (and where they hallucinate).
- Full-stack curiosity — "full-stack builder" means you think about the frontend experience AND the backend systems that power it. You're comfortable going deep with engineering.
Role Summary
Most engineers, PMs & designers use AI. Few are AI-native. We're hiring the latter and looking for someone who can drive things end-to-end (discovery to conceptualisation to design to building to driving adoption) for a given canvas.Own a product or a feature end-to-end. Scope the problem, build the solution, ship it to users. Flex between frontend and backend based on what the problem needs, not your title. Work on 0→1 projects with real autonomy. Be part of Razorpay's AI transformation at scale and define the journey.
You Know Who You Are
You have deep expertise across the building journey:
- Customer backward thinking
- Product solutioning
- Prototyping & designing
- Building & taking products live
- Taking solutions to market, driving adoption & measuring impact
You also exhibit good competence in the others. In past roles, you've juggled multiple hats. You've been using AI tools for over a year—Claude Code or Cursor is your default environment, not a novelty. You orchestrate agents, build with skills and MCPs. AI assistance is muscle memory. You're a polyglot—picking up new stacks fast because AI handles the ramp. Discovering & solving customer problems gives joy to you.
You will be a good fit if you bring
- Product sense: you ask "why" before "how"
- 3-6 years building software as technical PM, user focussed product engineer
- Deep expertise in one domain + breadth across others
- Should be able to read code, fix CI/CD configurations if needed
- Track record of shipping, not just building
You will not be a good fit if you
You need detailed specs handed to you. You prefer deep specialization over breadth. You're uncomfortable with ambiguity. You optimize for code elegance over customer outcomes. You still thrive living in a 2 week sprint.
