  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for 2–3 corporate retainer clients; anticipate client needs and translate them into executable PR plans.
  • Lead the creation of corporate-communication materials in both Mandarin and English—press releases, Q&As, briefing books, executive speeches, we-media posts, annual reports—ensuring consistency with brand tone and regulatory context.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business, mass, general and vertical media as well as KOLs; secure proactive coverage and manage interview opportunities for C-suite spokespeople.
  • Draft holistic communication strategies (narrative arc, messaging house, channel mix) for corporate communication, image enhancement, product launches, crisis scenarios, ESG milestones, M&A announcements and thought-leadership campaigns.
  • Manage project timelines, vendor budgets and third-party suppliers (design, video, translation, monitoring) to deliver campaigns on schedule and within budget; issue weekly status reports and post-campaign analysis.
  • Monitor industry trends, policy shifts and competitor moves; turn insights into actionable counsel and quarterly trend reports for clients.
  • Support new-business pitches by conducting research, drafting proposal sections and participating in presentation rehearsals.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal and compliance teams to ensure all external statements meet listing-rule or regulatory disclosure requirements where applicable. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Journalism, Business, English, International Relations or related field.
  • 2–3 years of corporate-communications experience inside a PR agency; tech or professional-services accounts strongly preferred.
  • Native-level Mandarin plus fluent business English (written and spoken); able to produce publication-ready English press releases with minimal editing.
  • Established network of Chinese business, general and industry journalists; familiarity with new-media ecosystems (REDNote, Zhihu, Bilibili, WeChat Channels).
  • Proven track record of placing corporate news in tier-one outlets (e.g., CCTV, People Daily, Xinhua, Caixin, Yicai, Reuters, Bloomberg) and securing top-tier broadcast interviews.
  • Strong project-management skills: capable of juggling multiple deadlines, prioritizing under pressure and maintaining accuracy in fast-moving news cycles.
  • Crisis-communication exposure—experience drafting holding statements, media Q&As and managing real-time monitoring dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Meltwater/Cision or equivalent media databases; basic knowledge of AI-driven monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, numerate and comfortable with budget spreadsheets; understands billing cycles and can draft client-facing budget reconciliations.
  • Collaborative mindset, resilient attitude and willingness to travel domestically when events or media tours require
