We are looking for a true “Hunter” with outstanding client retention capabilities. This is a senior commercial role responsible for managing an existing portfolio of Enterprise clients, deepening strategic partnerships at the executive management level, and generating new business opportunities (Upsell/Cross-sell) through trust-based relationships.
The selected candidate will also serve as a role model and help elevate the professional standards of the division’s sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic management of a complex B2B client portfolio, including business expansion initiatives.
- Full ownership of the sales cycle: from identifying customer needs, through managing negotiations, to securing signed Statements of Work (SOW) prior to the commencement of development team activities.
- Managing and renewing annual maintenance agreements and ensuring ongoing collections aligned with project milestones.
- Managing personal relationships, employee retention, and welfare for company employees working onsite at client locations under outsourcing engagements.
- Ongoing collaboration in a matrix environment with Delivery Managers, ensuring alignment on scope and timelines.
Requirements & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in strategic account management and business development within software services, system integration, or Professional Services companies in the Israeli local market only.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and closing Enterprise-level deals worth hundreds of thousands of shekels/dollars.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex commercial negotiations with VP-level executives and procurement teams.
- Significant advantage for candidates with prior experience selling and managing outsourced software development teams.
- Strong technological understanding and ability to conduct business discussions around software solutions (coding skills not required).
