Senior Government & Major Account Manager - Midwest Territory

This position covers the Kansas City and St. Louis territories.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales revenue and unit budget for assigned quota – quota is larger than the average sales quota, reflecting both expanded territory and exceptional sales performance.
- Manage forecasted and planned budget levels with emphasis on revenues, productivity levels, and unit placements.
- Manage the overall bid and proposal process for the territory in compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- Introduce and implement SIICA marketing and financial programs to identify and drive incremental and repeatable business into new and existing install base.
- Assist with sales calls for major end-user customers with Sharp Dealers/Branches as required.
- Create and conduct training and sales meetings within the territory to introduce new developments in products, policies, and procedures.
- Act as mentor and stand in manager as required throughout the fiscal period
- Prepare and submit required business plans, activity reports and forecasts in a timely manner.
- Minimum of 5-7 years successful sales experience
- College degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully with employees at all levels across the organization.
- Working knowledge of CRM, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Must be a highly motivated; detail oriented and organized team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time within assigned territory.
Compensation For This Position
The compensation range for this role is $102,000-$140,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
