This position provides leadership in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.) to ensure delivery is on time and within budget. He/She directs component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. This position develops and leads AD project activities and integrations. He/She guides teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies. He/She provides knowledge and support for applications’ development, integration, and maintenance. This position leads junior team members with project related activities and tasks. He/She guides and influences department and project teams. This position facilitates collaboration with stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture across frontend, API, and data layers; define standards and guardrails.
- Lead backlog grooming, estimation, and technical roadmaps; mentor and code review.
- Drive Azure architecture decisions (App Services, AKS or containerization, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, AAD).
- Ensure high-quality delivery via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions), branch policies, automated testing.
- Champion observability (Application Insights, structured logging), security (OAuth2/OIDC, secrets management), and performance (caching, async patterns, query optimization).
- Coordinate with Product/UX and stakeholders; remove blockers and manage risks.
- (Full stack - Web + Middle Layer + DB ) - Angular, .Net, MVC, SQL, Azure, SSRS - good to have
- (Backend - DB) - SQL, SSIS, Azure SQL, SQL MI
- Angular 15+: Standalone components, Signals, RxJS mastery, Angular Material, routing, lazy loading.
- TypeScript: Strong typing, generics, advanced language features, state management patterns.
- .NET 6/7/8+ Web API: Minimal APIs/controllers, MediatR, dependency injection, configuration management.
- SQL Server: Indexing strategy, query tuning, transaction isolation, execution plans.
- Azure: App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, AAD, Application Insights; Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/Terraform) preferred.
- DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, release strategies (blue/green/canary).
- Architecture: Domain-driven design, clean architecture, modular monolith/microservices evaluation.
- Technical leadership, stakeholder communication, coaching/mentoring, risk management, documentation.
