As a People Operations Specialist, you will support the People Team in managing employee lifecycle events like onboarding, job changes, and separations through our internal employee case management systems and our HRIS system, Workday. In this role, you'll respond to employees, managers, and other internal stakeholders based on service-level agreements and best practices. You will contribute to process improvement, and through operational excellence will help DraftKings achieve the best results.
What you’ll do
- Perform job changes and other Workday-specific HCM tasks through our case management systems.
- Respond to employee and People Team requests for information, issue resolution, and reporting needs using case management tools.
- Create and adhere to reference documentation to ensure data integrity throughout systems and reporting and perform regular audits,
- Build relationships with stakeholders, and use a variety of tools and methods to communicate with impact to drive efficiencies.
- Participate in systems configuration changes, projects, and meetings to help roll out new processes.
- 2+ years of experience working within a HR function, ideally in a growth-oriented company.
- Strong business acumen, including critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and initiative skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Internal drive for data integrity across all responsibilities, paired with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative spirit with a passion for process improvement.
- Experience with Workday Human Capital Management, along with strong Excel skills and a proven analytical mindset.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 71,800.00 USD - 89,700.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire pay rates for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
