The role
We’re looking for a superstar through‑the‑line Account Manager to join our Brand Experience (BX) team, working on Boots. Typically, you will report into an Account Director or Business Director depending on the project.
- You will help lead small to medium-sized projects and act as day-to-day support on larger projects, armed with your experience and proven ability to think and do.
- You will ensure operational excellence on the projects you manage.
- You will serve as day-to-day client contact and be viewed as an integral part of the account team, who is able to offer valuable input on strategy, creative, production and delivery.
- You will ensure the highest standard of execution across all project deliverables.
- You will have a solid understanding of strategy and always ensure that you and the team are working towards strategic objectives.
- You will help support or lead key client meetings including status meetings, briefings, cross-agency partner meetings, and agency presentations.
- You will manage financial responsibilities including reviewing estimates and billing for your projects, plus tracking budgets, invoices and POs.
- You will seek understanding of client business objectives relative to your projects.
- You will maintain and grow your knowledge of the business competition.
- Experience as an Account Manager delivering large scale TTL campaigns. ATL experience is a must.
- Has a can-do attitude, comfortable with the pace of a fast-moving account, a safe pair of hands under pressure, embraces change and being a proponent of it.
- Strong team player with a collaborative nature.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with client and agency partners.
- Buttoned down, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Thinks and operates with strategic mindset when prioritising tasks.
- Manages up and knows when to escalate concerns internally or with client.
- Helps mentor and support career development of junior team members.
- Actively contributes to team and department culture.
