Product Line Manager


Role Summary


The Product Line Manager is responsible for supporting the assessment and valuation of aviation assets, with a particular emphasis on airframe components. This mid-level position combines technical and commercial expertise with strong industry relationships to deliver accurate asset valuations, oversee portfolio performance, and contribute to marketing and remarketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct valuations for aircraft, engines, APUs, airframes, and components, including rotables and repairables, covering both fair market value and liquidation value assessments
  • Evaluate inbound and off-lease assets to support purchasing decisions, lease pricing, re-lease strategies, and overall portfolio planning
  • Maintain up-to-date market insight through relationships with airlines, OEMs, lessors and MROs
  • Build, maintain, and enhance USM valuation models, factoring in market demand, configuration, repair costs, and pricing trends
  • Analyze the impact of service bulletins (SBs), airworthiness directives (ADs), repair developments, and workscope planning on asset values and commercial strategy
  • Support portfolio management activities through lifecycle monitoring and asset value trend analysis
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to assist in the marketing and remarketing of off-lease aviation assets

Qualifications Required


  • 3–7 years’ experience in aviation asset valuation, leasing, appraisal, or asset management
  • Hands-on experience valuing or pricing airframe components such as rotables, repairables, landing gear, APUs, and avionics
  • Strong network and established relationships within aircraft, engine, and airframe component markets
  • Demonstrated experience in aviation asset pricing, teardown operations, or aftermarket services
  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial evaluation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with portfolio, sales, and marketing teams
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred

  • Background in airline operations, MRO environments, or aircraft parts trading
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical documentation
  • Experience managing deal execution, including contract terms, inspections, and fulfilment processes

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Coding skills or advanced data analytics experience
