This is a mid-level individual contributor role focused on retention, renewals, and revenue growth. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Implementation, and Support to deliver measurable value and deepen long-term client partnerships. Strong personal relationships and regular face-to-face engagement across London are central to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of 5–8 strategic accounts, maintaining clear account plans, stakeholder maps, and health metrics.
- Drive on-time renewals, preparing renewal proposals and proactively identifying and mitigating churn risks.
- Identify, qualify, and progress upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales, supporting commercial negotiations to close growth opportunities.
- Lead quarterly business reviews, executive briefings, and adoption sessions to demonstrate ROI and strengthen senior stakeholder relationships.
- Act as the primary client advocate internally, influencing product priorities, implementation timelines, and service expectations where required.
- Coordinate escalations effectively, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with Support and Professional Services.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, revenue forecasts, and concise account health reporting to support commercial visibility and planning.
- 3–6 years’ experience in B2B account management, customer success, or commercial roles, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated track record managing renewals and contributing to account growth within complex client organisations.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance relationship management and revenue accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders across underwriting, broking, operations, and IT functions.
- Highly organised, proactive, and consultative in approach, with strong follow-through and ownership.
- Familiarity with the London insurance market (insurers, Lloyd’s, brokers, MGAs) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce, along with strong Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint skills for reporting and client presentations.
