SOLUTION ACCOUNT MANAGER TRANSPORTATION IBERIA

You will make an impact in the following way:
- Drive profitable growth within the Transportation vertical across Iberia through solution selling and strategic account development.
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with OEMs, operators, system integrators and infrastructure stakeholders.
- Manage complex sales cycles including early engagement, technical discussions, proposal coordination, negotiation and follow-up.
- Build compelling value-based proposals together with internal technical and solution teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources including Solution Consultants, Product Management, Customer Service and Operations to support customer projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key transportation accounts and decision makers at multiple organizational levels.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity and relevant transportation technologies.
- Maintain accurate funnel management, forecasting and opportunity tracking using SFDC and standard sales processes.
- Support specification activities and promote solution-based approaches that create long-term customer value.
- Provide fact-based market input to support solution development and alignment with evolving customer and industry requirements.
- Cultivate strong internal relationships to ensure agile support, proactive business coordination and successful execution of customer opportunities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or Account Management within industrial or technology-driven environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience within the Transportation sector, preferably Railway.
- Proven experience managing long-cycle, complex and value-based consultative sales processes.
- Strong experience developing strategic customer relationships and managing structured sales and tender activities.
- Experience working with OEMs, operators, public transportation authorities or industrial system integrators is highly valued.
- Ability to understand customer applications and translate operational requirements into value-based solution propositions.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in international environments.
- Structured and proactive approach to opportunity management, funnel development and account planning.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex customer projects.
- Self-driven profile with strong relationship-building capabilities and commercial mindset.
- Engineering or technical/business degree preferred.
- Candidate must currently reside in Spain.
