BFS Associates is seeking a Tax Accountant to join a growing, collaborative team in the Newton area. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity with excellent benefits including 100% employer paid health insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare small business partnership, corporate trust and individual tax returns.
- Handle attestation engagements.
- Assist with financial reporting.
- Provide bookkeeping businesses.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of tax preparation experience in a small or medium sized public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA a plus.
- Proficiency with tax application software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and support clients across many industries.
