As a Real Estate Project Manager, you will drive transparency, governance, and effective steering of our global real estate portfolio across all asset classes – Retail (Stores & Outlets), Franchise, and Corporate/Campus projects.
In a global, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environment, you act as a central project manager within the Global Expansion & Real Estate organization, operating as an internal real estate PMO rather than an asset owner or operational project lead. You empower decision-makers with high-quality insights, structured documentation, and robust governance processes. Working closely with the Head of Global Expansion & Real Estate, you contribute analytical and project-based input to further develop and refine the functional real estate strategy.
The position is for a fixed term of 24 months.
What you can expect:
Real Estate Portfolio Steering & Governance
- Establish and maintain standardized reporting, KPIs, and governance formats across all real estate asset classes.
- Drive transparency and decision-readiness for portfolio and project reviews.
- Prepare, structure, and quality-assure business cases and approval documents.
- Align stakeholders and ensure robust, comparable decision documentation.
- Provide structured project management and governance support across retail, franchise, and corporate real estate initiatives.
- Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, and follow-ups without owning assets, contracts, or budgets.
- Work closely with the Global Expansion & Real Estate function and in particular with the Head of Department on portfolio analyses, scenarios, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate data and project learnings into fact-based strategic input.
- Develop best practices, templates, and governance standards.
- Prepare management- and executive-ready presentations and materials.
- University degree in International Sales, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in real estate, expansion, or project management environments.
- Ideally, a combined background in real estate, retail, finance, and operations.
- Basic understanding of architecture, construction, store execution, and store operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a strategic and inclusive mindset.
- Strong analytical and structured skill set, especially in:
- KPIs and performance management
- Reporting
- Business case modelling and evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build robust analyses, reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international context.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver impactful presentations.
- Strong facilitation skills, able to navigate and align diverse stakeholders and interests.
