What You’ll Do
- Support Biogen's alliances with a focus on pre-Commercial assets from pre-clinical through Phase II.
- Contribute to alliance design and develop strategies for project execution of post-deal readiness activities.
- Propose and execute collaboration guiding principles and objectives; recommend changes to governance structure and develop joint ways of working.
- Act as a technical expert on alliance contracts, facilitating contract agreement execution and contributing to contract development and amendments.
- Drive alliance governance, ensuring alignment with internal and partner collaborators on agenda, preparation, and outcomes tracking.
- Build knowledge of partner capabilities and establish relationships with partner counterparts, representing the voice of the alliance.
- Develop alliance reporting and monitor alliance health.
- Implement tools and best practices for best-in-class alliance execution.
- Drive functional learnings within an alliance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of alliance contracts and the ability to translate them into actionable strategies.
- Experience in stakeholder management, both internally and with partners.
- Innovative thinking to develop solutions and anticipate business/alliance issues.
- Proven track record of leading projects and executing multiple workstreams in parallel.
- Strong ability to communicate complex ideas and persuade others.
- Experience with change management strategies.
- Strong written and verbal executive communication skills.
- 12+ years of experience in Life Sciences Alliance Management or related roles, such as Research, Development, or Commercial areas. An advanced degree may substitute for experience, as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Adjacent experience in Finance, Business Development, Strategy, Commercial, Medical, R&D, and Manufacturing is strongly considered.
- Track record of strong individual contributor experience in a matrixed organization and leading cross-functional projects.
Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $196,000.00-$270,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
