We serve up good vibes, loud flavors, and unforgettable moments. As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll be overseeing the show. You're not just managing a shift — you're curating a vibe. You’ll keep operations tight, guest experiences smooth, and our crew tuned up and ready to rock. Think of yourself as the front-of-house maestro, setting the tone, bringing the vibes, and making sure every shift hits all the right notes. Must Enjoy the Ride!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the shift including scheduling, decision-making, planning, upholding food quality & cleanliness, and problem-solving like a pro
- Keep the band (our team) tight - make sure they’ve got the tools, knowledge, and energy to perform at their best
- Lead with the Taco Reho spirit; reinforce our values, culture, and “How We Roll” mantra every shift
- Set the rhythm of the shift - delegate, motivate, and drive excellence in service and vibe
- Help pump up sales by driving promo participation and team engagement
- Oversee the restaurant stage - from front to back of house, you’re making sure it all rocks
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and safety always meet our rockstar standards
- Address guest feedback with professionalism and take appropriate action to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
- Ensure the space is safe, smooth, and secure for everyone on the floor
- Collaborate with department managers in evaluating and disciplining personnel, as appropriate, with oversight from the General Manager, and in accordance with company policies, rules, and procedures
- Be a brand ambassador, live the brand, and help our team Get L.I.T. (Learn. Inspire. Teach.)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Passion for hospitality and a guest-first, music-loving, team-driven mindset
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- ServSafe Food Manager & Alcohol certifications (or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal and professional life
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Professional appearance, punctual, reliable
- Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and be able to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Advanced written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, internet, POS
- Frequently walk and occasionally bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds as well as climbing up and down stairs quite frequently during shifts
