We are looking for a talented IT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE to join our team specializing in IT for our CUMMINS MOTORES in San Luis Potosí, SLP, México .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure problems.
  • Manage requests and incidents through ticket management systems, documenting actions taken.
  • Provide effective solutions and analyze data to identify recurring trends or areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions based on root-cause analysis.
  • Create, update and manage operational standards and process documentation.
  • Provide support according to established processes and ensure compliance.
  • Train less experienced staff in IT tools and procedures.
  • Oversee and support contracted resources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure effective solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose changes to optimize services and processes.
  • Manage the relationship with external suppliers, providing follow-up and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Extend the workday according to the needs of the business.
  • Assist in other assigned IT-related responsibilities.
  • Perform IT production support for assigned areas according to documented processes.
  • Manage documentation and process standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Strong knowledge in database and SQL management.
  • Understanding and experience with root-cause analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with innovative technologies applied to the business.

Additional Considerations

  • Minimum of 12 months of seniority in the current job classification.

Experience

At least 6 months of experience related to IT support areas or root cause analysis.

Additional Requirements: Extension of the workday due to the need for the business.
