**Overview**

As a Backend Developer Intern at FutureSight, you will collaborate with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives. We are seeking someone with a proactive "Let's roll up our sleeves and get it done" attitude. The ideal candidate should demonstrate energy, passion, and a "can-do" attitude, along with excellent engagement and communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and databases - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, and deployment - Assist in troubleshooting and debugging server-side issues to improve application performance and reliability - Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices - Support the integration of third-party APIs and services into existing applications - Help prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals - Participate in team meetings and provide valuable input and feedback - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the adoption of best practices - Provide support to other members of the production team

**Key Requirements**

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and proficiency in back-end languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js - Experience with server-side frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or Express - Knowledge of database management systems, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases - Familiarity with version control systems like Git - Familiarity with RESTful API design and development - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficiency in ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools

**Nice to Have**

- Proficiency in Polish language for effective communication - Previous experience in mentoring - Understanding of RESTful API design and development
