## About the Role

As a Backend Developer at FutureSight, you will collaborate with our studio team on various projects for our clients and new startup initiatives. We are seeking someone with a proactive "Let's roll up our sleeves and get it done" attitude. The ideal candidate should demonstrate energy, passion, and a "can-do" attitude, along with excellent engagement and communication skills.

## Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications with a focus on back-end development best practices - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases - Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs or UX design - Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations - Implement and maintain database structures and queries - Ensure the security and integrity of back-end systems - Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends - Provide support to other members of the production team

## Key Requirements

- "Can do" attitude - Minimum of 3 years of experience in back-end development - Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js - Experience with frameworks such as .NET, Django, Spring Boot, or Express.js - Familiarity with database systems, including relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) - Understanding of API design and development, including RESTful principles - Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Mandatory: Ability to use AI tools effectively, form effective prompts, and complete advanced tasks at pace - Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Fluent English - Proficiency in ChatGPT and similar generative AI tools - Knowledge of transformer models (e.g., GPT, BERT) - Expertise in prompt engineering for AI optimization - Experience with AI tools for workflow automation and creativity (e.g., DALL-E, OpenAI API)

## Nice to Have

- Proficiency in Polish language for effective communication - Previous experience in mentoring
