Senior Account Manager Job Description

The Senior Account Manager plays a vital leadership role in overseeing key client relationships, managing high-impact campaigns, and driving the strategic direction of accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution, client satisfaction, and continuous business growth through strategic planning, effective team management, and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the agency and top-tier clients, ensuring the delivery of excellent service and measurable results. You will also supervise account executives and coordinators, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management to help them succeed and grow within the organization.

This position requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader who possesses strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, capable of managing both the bigger picture and day-to-day operations. Success in this role is defined by strong client relationships, team leadership, successful campaign delivery, and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.

Duties And Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning and execution of account management activities to meet business goals and client expectations

Plan budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and oversee financial performance of assigned accounts

Set clear goals and performance objectives for the account management team and ensure alignment with company targets

Provide regular feedback, mentorship, trainings, and guidance to junior and mid-level account staff to drive growth and performance

Conduct periodic performance evaluations using key metrics and identify areas for development or improvement

Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong relationships and open communication are maintained

Understand client business goals, challenges, and requirements to develop tailored solutions that deliver measurable value

Drive client satisfaction by ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services, campaigns, and deliverables

Monitor the success and performance of campaigns, preparing regular reports and providing strategic recommendations for improvement

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through potential leads to meet sales goals

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (creative, strategy, production) to ensure client needs are met and exceeded

Ensure proper submission of deliverables, assignment of work shift schedules and tasks and adherence to document submission protocols

Resolve client issues effectively, maintaining trust and long-term partnerships

Review reports and updates from account teams and communicate quarterly and annual progress to senior management and external stakeholders

Stay up to date with industry trends and client market landscapes to provide informed, forward-thinking advice

Uphold a high standard of client service, representing the agency with professionalism and integrity

  • Stay up to date with the company’s services, processes, and workflows
  • Actively pursue professional development through company-provided courses, meetings, training sessions, and seminars
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, effective time management, and strong organizational skills
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional client interactions
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team and contribute to group goals
  • Work independently, take initiative, and meet established deadlines
  • Take accountability for personal conduct and contribute positively to team dynamics
  • Foster cooperation and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, third-party vendors, and clients

Other Details

Currently working in a hybrid setup (combination of remote and onsite work)

Flexible and available to report onsite at the Makati office as required

May be required to work on weekends, depending on internally agreed schedules

Open to attending in-person client meetings upon request

Willing to travel for out-of-town business events and engagement

Has a stable internet connection suitable for remote work

A minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps is preferred

Capable of handling both internal and external virtual meetings effectively

A company-issued laptop will be provided for official use

With Experience In Pr Or Communications Industry

SALARY RANGE: up to 40,000

Office Location: Makati City

Work Schedule: 9:00am to 6:00pm from Monday to Friday

Work Set-Up: HYBRID (will report to the office as needed and required)
