This role serves as a trusted advisor to business clients, delivering tailored cash management and treasury solutions through a consultative, client-first approach. The individual partners closely with relationship managers and cross-functional teams to assess client needs, develop and present solutions, generate proposals, and close sales. Responsibilities include managing the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity identification and proposal development to onboarding coordination—while maintaining strong follow-up and ongoing client engagement. The role also involves client and prospect visits, participation in industry events, and staying current on cash management products, services, and trends.
The Arizona market focuses on Commercial & Industrial Clients 25 million-2 billion in size.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work as a trusted advisor with all business clients to deliver a tailored suite of services.
- Demonstrate ability to assess client needs, possess strong advisory skills, and ability to identify solutions to meet client needs. Communicate client needs to support partners as appropriate.
- Partner closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.
- Analyze account activity and balances for proposals, generate proposals, present to business clients and close sales.
- Determine what product sets and features best suit the client/prospect requirements using consultative selling techniques.
- Obtain the required service agreements for requested product sets and account documentation.
- Partner with our Commercial Services team to manage the onboarding experience.
- Traveling: visiting clients and/or prospects as needed
- Follow-up on all Sales calls.
- May attend various conferences, conventions, educational and networking events.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation with a trusted advisor approach, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel - PowerPoint for proposal generation.
- Broad and deep familiarity with cash management products, services and trends (Fraud Prevention, Lockbox, etc).
- Sales and service abilities; Ability to assess client needs and provide solutions.
Required Experience:
- High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years' experience in Treasury Solutions Sales.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field (Business, Accounting, Finance, etc) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Treasury Solutions Sales preferred.
Nice to have experience:
- Account Executive or Account Manager for a tech startup (building relationships with clients and selling into an existing client base, especially financial focused products)
